Hi, my name is Joseph Fitzgerald. I have been a lover of music for as long as I can remember. When I was 10, I was drawn to the theater like a magnet drawn to a fridge. I was in several professional productions with Sierra Repertory Theatre, including but not limited to Mary Poppins as Michael Banks, Christmas Carol as Tiny Tim, A Christmas Story as Ralphie, and The Fantasticks as Mortimer. 

Theater was like a launching point for me as I went through high school, dedicating myself to music. I’ve played with multiple bands in some venues and hosted a two-day music festival. Now, as a college student, I am dedicating myself to music education and shooting for my master’s degree in music composition. 

My current work to achieve this goal is mainly gaining experience in teaching through Mountain Youth and Community Theater, working as a Stage Director, Choreographer, Fight Choreographer, and, of course, Musical Director in shows since 2022.
